going down to Atcham for first visit of the season next week , not sure which area yet. Are most pegs accessible or would it be worth packing my strimming blade ? Any advice would be gratefully accepted , TIA.
Fished Atcham below the Tern yesterday...spoke to the bailiff who said it was fishing poorly with the weather and low water levels,so hopes were`nt high but i managed to snare an 8lb 5oz barbel at 5.20pm which was a great sign for later on,though only 2 more small chub and a perch came out...gave it til 10.15pm.....perch n barbel took worms while the chub were on meat...did`nt get a sniff on pellets...spoke to some lads on the way back but only a couple of chub had come out....pegs are all easily accessible, though with the low water levels some pegs would be dificult to land any fish.
