Do you know why we can’t fish Bostock during the coarse closed season? There is nothing I can see in the rules and as you say Winsford consider there to be enough trout to allow trout fishing… not being argumentative, just curious. Hope it comes across as such.
No worries! And it's just each clubs rules, northwich dont allow it and I'm pretty sure the albert don't either . But winsford use to stock the dane with trout in the 90s and maybe before during the closed season. It was good fishing. I think it's just stuck from that tbh. I've had trout from the dane above holmes chapel but they're all the way through and you even get them as low as the stretch that runs into the weaver.
No there isn't. And you can't fish it out of season. Winsford have the bank opposite and they have static worm and fly only fishing and no spinning during the closed season. Try the peover eye for trout.
