Just a heads up to members about fixed leads and lead clips. A mate has not long pulled a snag in from Founders with 4 snagged rigs all with leads attached and attached in a way that they could never be ejected. This is poor angling practices and could members please be mindful of this when casting out if you can’t shake a lead off on the bank then a tethered fish has no chance. Fish safety comes first. 👍🏼

On sparrow there is a snag close to the reeds on car park roughly middle of the car park
I always use running lead rig so I Will never have a problem and the fish can't use the lead to shake the hook
If you lose a rig to a snag please just report it to the club so we can sort it out
If I have to put waters on rig checks I will no need for poor fish care
