Which side of the river for the below mill stretch? Assuming you go to the mill pool and cross that bridge? Mill pool didn't look great to fish, far too shallow. I did chuck the spinner through it a couple times to see if there was anything hiding but saw no fish movement.
Left hand bank as you face down stream. Access isn’t great admittedly.
You can fish the bank by the sandstone bridge aswell, next to the old sheds. There is a small metal gate on the right immediately after the bridge that you can push open.
Went back today. No joy with maggots. Worm was the way to go. Only 1 real section below the weir that's worth fishing. A nice deep bend. I say deep. Probably 2 foot, but couldn't see the bottom. Had a nice brown out of that pool. Didn't half strip line. Ace fishing on light gear.
Why is there only Peover Eye to go at?
