Off there Monday for the first time, any info or tips for it? It it silty or gravel? Sure I read somewhere it was a gravel pit but I could be dreaming that.
As soon as you drive down the path and park the car there's a gate to the left if you go through there the most favoured peg is the 6th peg along I think it is fishing directly opposite the island fish as close as you can to it with a little pva sock of approx 8 boilies, halves and whole and then catapult a couple handfuls around and you will have a productive day, although you can obviously catch anywhere on the lake that tactic works all around, it is silty but not to the point your lead will plug in to much, the water level is definitely down at the moment so the levels are between 3 and 4 foot deep
No worries if you have already got them made up then yes they will definitely work mate it can be very prolific on there, I only go for approx 5 hour day sessions and vary between 3 and 7 carp on a session in 5 hours. In fact I may be popping tomorrow after 1pm weather dependent

It's silty ... As you go on far left there are a few bricks in there so be careful . Only about 3ft depth max.
