Hi lads, me and the hippy (Steve H ) had a session on sparrow last Wednesday and although I only caught one small bream I had a really good day rebooting the brain and getting rid of the negatively. I always enjoy fishing here and tetton. It's one of those waters that need a good few sessions to try and unlock its secrets and I think it'll be one water where I'll put in some time this uear. Now for the moan,i did see some members not parking as they should , bonnet to the water, also there was one or two members of the lake opposite parking on our side and not in thier own car park, maybe that's one thing to keep an eye on seeing as they won't let us use thier car park
I'm pretty certain PA tried to get better parking agreed with the landowner and even Elworth angling when they had control of these waters. They hit a dead end, thats not to say Lymm shouldn't have another go though.
Could we not get permission to make some sort of hard standing carpark in the field through the locked gate? I know it has an SSSI on the water, but surely that only covers the wetland and the Flash ( as all Flashes have that status). Plus the one by the road, being a public carpark it can be tight to park.
Regarding the session, I blanked, but was entertained by a huge shoal of fingerling perch I spotted in the clear water. Just need to meet Grandma perch and get into the bigger tench 😁
I understand that parking is tight but parking with your bonnet towards the water is dangerous, how would you safely pull off? You would be reversing onto a vey busy road
