Service Description

Nunsmere is sixty acres of Cheshire Mere, the areas in red on the map are permissive banks you can fish from. The hotel grounds are out of bounds to bank fishing, also Abbotts Moss Forestry Road Bank. Access through the gate for the North Bay and west bank running adjacent to the A49. Parking is available in the hotel entrance on the right, for access to the southwest peninsula following a track past the A49 lay-by. Members can drop off their tackle etc at the old events area , now a gravel area but they must park their vehicles in the designated Lymm AC car parking area which is sign posted on the right hand side as you enter the main entrance off the A49. The far peninsula southeast is only accessible via boat, but we have permission to fish from here. There is NO fishing in front of the hotel and in the slalom course for the water skiing. 2 x Club Boats All bookings must be made via the booking system, there are 2 boats available from 1st October to 31st March dawn till dusk, each boat can carry a maximum of 2 members. Access to the club boats is down the entrance road to the hotel and then left over a gravel parking area, through a small gate, walking down to the water side wedding stand the turn right heading to an opening at the water’s edge. The grey boat is on a combination lock number 2010, the green punt is on a club lock so a club key is required.
