It's a numbers game regarding Catfish in Founders, most are doubles with a reasonable chance of a 20. I've heard rumours of low 30s, but yet to see one myself. Although way back in its distant past it did do a couple of 30s, so that's not to say they're ain't 1 or 2 in there nowadays. I'd say Founders is an ideal water for members to target their first Catfish or perfect their Catfish rigs/try new methods. If you're after bigger Catfish, Lymm has other waters where members have got a good chance of having that itch scratched.
Nice one. I've tried a few times but dont seem to be getting through to any decent sized ones. Think mines about 16lb from there. Rest smaller doubles.
